Google provides its latest feature to its users who are waiting for making Google Calls from their devices such as smartphones and tablets. Google’s “Smart Hub Display” enables the users to make audio as well as video calls in collaboration with Google based “Google Duo.” Users can sync its services through Google Assistant to its Smart Hub Display. It works on a video camera as you can place video calling through this feature. Users are allowed to make video calls from both the Android and iPhone gadgets.

Placing Voice calls to Google Home

For placing voice calls through Google Duo on Google Home, you required these things:

Google Duo Application

You have to install it using your Google account on your smartphone.

Google Home application

You have to set up and install it on your device. You can take subscription of a smart display by visiting your “Google Next Hub.” You may take it’s normal, max or Lenovo subscriptions.

Now, follow the instructions:

  • First and foremost, launch “Google Home” application.
  • Then, hit the “Profile” icon by navigating the lower right section of your screen.
  • After that, hit the option “More Settings” located inside “Google Assistant.”
  • Now, move to the option “Services” by navigating the profile display.
  • Next, tap on “Video and Voice” calls section.
  • Then, hit the section “Voice and Video Apps” located in the panel “Video and Voice” calls from your screen.
  • Then, navigate to the Account section, and there you will see “Google Duo.”
  • After that, hit the “Link” icon situated just after the Google Duo.
  • Now, hit the “Continue” tab located at the confirmation page of Google Duo.
  • After that, pursue online indications to proceed the method as it will help you to configure “Google Duo. You will be taken to the display related Voice and Video applications.
  • Now, you will be able to view Google Voice number if you have managed and set up for Google Duo.
  • Next, it is recommended to enable Google Assistant screen required to place voice calls.
  • Then, return to the home screen of Google Home application. You will see an extra symbol related to “Call Home” on your desktop.
  • After that, hit the “Call Home” to initiate the calling process.
  • Once the call initiated successfully, you have to exit from your Google Home applications. Then try to load once more if you are unable to view the icon related to Call Home.
  • To begin calling on “Google Home Smart Display,” you have to hit the tab “Call Home.”
  • In case you have already added/ linked your contact details and voice number, then Google-based smart display will display your name on the PC screen.

Setting Google Home for Placing Voice Calls

Users were anxiously waiting for these features as Google provides various interesting functions. Now, they can make a voice without any restrictions. For making calls on Google Home, you must need Smart Display related to Google Assistant. It will work smoothly with Smart Display of Google Home and also with Lenovo Smart Display.
