Pandora sometimes misbehaves in some devices, such as on iPhone 8 Plus the app sometimes crashes and stops working.

If you are also dealing with the same issue, then we have some solutions for the problem. And today we are going to fix this issue with easy tips and tricks. So what’s the wait? Let’s get started.

Fix 1: Clear Pandora and other Apps That are Running in Background

Random apps that run in the background can cause the issue so we will recommend you to clear all background apps on your device. Multiple apps running in the background can affect the performance of Pandora and sometimes it may even crash.

To clear the background apps on your iPhone, follow the steps below:

  1. Tap your Home button two times quickly. Press your home button the same way as you do to open an application.
  2. Now you will see a list of apps.
  3. To clear an app, hold and drag it upwards.  Navigate to Pandora and clear it by dragging it upwards.
  4. We will recommend you to clear all background apps on your iPhone to get rid of the issue.

Fix 2: Restart Your iPhone 8 Plus

If clearing background apps didn’t work for you, then you should try a soft reset or a normal reboot. A simple restart will remove glitches and small errors that were affecting you Pandora Radio. Here is a short tutorial on how to reboot your iPhone.

  1. You should long-press the Power key for a while.
  2. Now you will see the message of Slide to Power Off, and you can release the Power key.
  3. Swipe the slider towards the right direction. By doing so, your device will shut down.
  4. Wait at least 30 seconds, again long-press the Power key on your device until you see the Apple logo.

If your device freezes while using Pandora, then the above method won’t work for you. So try the method given below to force your iPhone to shut down.

  1. Press the Volume Up key and then release it quickly.
  2. After that, hit the Volume Down key and immediately release your finger.
  3. At last long-press the Power key until you see the Apple logo on your iPhone.

Don’t panic while forcing your device to power off because it won’t wipe your data.

Fix 3: Update Your App Using Apple App Store

Your app may contain some bugs and other coding errors so to fix it make sure to update your Pandora Radio to the latest version from Apple App Store. If you want to understand the full procedure on how to update Pandora, then read the instructions given below.

  1. Press the App Store icon at the Home screen of your iPhone.
  2. When your App Store opens, navigate to the Update icon located at the bottom right.
  3. Now you will see a list of pending apps that require updates. Select the Pandora app from the list.
  4. Now press the Update button next to the Pandora to install the updated version of the app.

Wait until the process completes and then launch your favorite music app “Pandora” and check if the problem is gone or not.
