How to fix Podcast App Crashing issue on Apple Devices

Restart your Mobile Data and Wi-Fi

Firstly you need to check that your device is connected to the internet. You can do this by switching on and off to Airplane mode. Here are the steps:

  1. Go to the settings of your device.
  2. Tap on the Airplane mode for switching it on. When you switch on it, you will see a green color icon.
  3. Again, tap on the Airplane mode for switching it off. When you switch off it, you will see a grey color icon.

Alternative Method Between 2nd and 3rd Step

If Airplane mode is on, then please open the Podcasts app and pull screen downwards and try to reconnect the feed. If it’s worked for you, then it’s excellent and if not, then continue with the fixes.

Reset your network settings

Please use this method only when you are sure enough that you can sign back quickly, which means you should know your password; this method needs your password. Here are the steps:

  1. Go to the Settings of your device.
  2. Click General Settings.
  3. Press Reset.
  4. Click Reset Network Settings.
  5. Click again Reset Network Settings to confirm your decision.
  6. After these steps, you will need to sign in again, so get back to the settings of your device.
  7. Click Settings.
  8. Press Wi-Fi.
  9. Choose Wi-Fi Network from the list.
  10. Provide the Wi-Fi password, if asked.

Uninstall and Reinstall the App

  1. Please uninstall the app by pressing the icon of the app.
  2. You will get the option to delete the app from the device.
  3. Just select the option, you will receive the message for the confirmation of the app deletion.
  4. You need to tap Yes.
  5. After the removal of the app, you have to install it again.
  6. Please go to the App store.
  7. Open the Search Bar.
  8. Enter the App Name.
  9. Pick an App.
  10. You will get the option of installing an App; Please Select it.
  11. After Installation, Open the App.
  12. If it’s working correctly, enjoy it.

Alternate Options

Reset all Settings

  1. Select Setting.
  2. Click General.
  3. Hit Reset.
  4. Select Reset All Settings.
  5. Type Device Password if asked.
  6. To Confirm Reset All Settings, Click on it again.

Restore Device and Set it as New

Please backup your stuff before using this method as it will remove all the things from your device

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Click General Settings.
  3. Press Reset.
  4. Remove All.
  5. Type Device Password if asked.
  6. Click on Back Up and Remove.
  7. Once the process is done, you will get the Welcome Note Window.
  8. Now please select according to you, “Restore data from Backup or Start-Up as New.”
  9. After Setting up Your device
  10. Go to the Settings
  11. Hit the button iCloud
  12. Select Apple ID and Login in
