How to Fix Flash Player Not Working on Chrome

You don’t have to install a particular plugin to turn on the Flash on Chrome browser. But there are some users who are reporting that Flash Player is not working on Chrome. In most of the cases, the Flash content is not showing properly even if they have followed all the guidelines given on the page to turn on the Adobe Flash Player. If you are one of them, then you can follow the methods mentioned below to fix this issue.


Here’s How to Fix Flash Player not working on Chrome

•    Updating Google Chrome to Its Latest Version

1.    Go to Google Chrome.

2.    Press on the action option.

3.    It is located on the upper right-hand side of the display.

4.    After that, click on the Help option.

5.    Click on the About Google Chrome option.

6.    After going to the next window, the client starts scanning automatically for the latest version of Google Chrome.

7.    You will be asked to update and restart the Google Chrome.

8.    You need to go through this procedure.

9.    Start the system again.

10.    On the web browser startup window, check in case you have fixed this issue or not.

•    Press on the Flash Content to Open it

1.    Press on each Flash menu to open it.

2.    Each time you start the default browser again, the Flash preferences gets removed.

3.    Press on the flash content to open it.

4.    After that, check if the Flash Player not working on Chrome is fixed or not.

5.    Press on the checkbox with the puzzle symbol.

6.    After that, press on the “Allow to grant the websites access to run Flash option.”

7.    If this procedure doesn’t fix this issue, then go through the other method listed below.

•    Permit Flash for All the Websites

1.    Go to the site, which includes the flash content.

2.    After that, press on the Lock symbol.

3.    Otherwise, press on the info symbol in case the website is not protected.

4.    Press on the Site Settings option.

5.    Go down to the Flash option located in the Settings tab of the particular site.

6.    You need to enable Flash for all the websites.

•    Turn Off the Hardware Acceleration

1.    Go to Google Chrome.

2.    Press on the action option.

3.    It is located at the upper right-hand side of the screen.

4.    Press on the Settings tab.

5.    Go down to the end of the display located in the settings tab.

6.    Press on the Advanced option.

7.    It will open the menu list of all the pending options.

8.    Go down to the System option.

9.    Unselect the option listed with the “Use hardware acceleration when available.”

10.    After that, press on a new Relaunch option.

11.    This option helps you to restart the Google Chrome browsing application.
