How to choose the right t-shirt

by TM Maria Be a king in your own kingdom

All men like t-shirts, most of them have a great collection. This is because they are comfortable to wear and can go anywhere casual with them. Therefore, these are the tips for you to know how to choose the right t-shirt for your size that you should take into account if you are looking for a shirt to buy:

How to choose the right shirt

Don't choose the ones that are too loose or tight. This will not make you look better. They should highlight the attributes of your body but not make you feel uncomfortable.

Make sure the shirt fits snugly on your shoulder. Sleeves must be around the arms and must not extend to the elbows. If you have longer arms, choose slightly short-sleeved shirts.

The length of the shirt should be long enough that you can tuck it into your pants.

If you are thinking of choosing the shirts for sports, make sure that only the top part fits tight.

How to choose the right shirt: The Fit

Things like fit, material, and design can have a big effect on how a shirt looks.

Fit is the cornerstone of style. But while we often think about fit in regards to items like a suit and dress shirt, it's also important that they fit well on your shirts.

Size.

A shirt should not be too baggy or too tight. If it's too big, it will drape and sink like a pillowcase. Too tight and you will look like a stuffed sausage. If you are fit and have a good build, you can include tighter over looser. If you're carrying extra weight, lean toward a looser fit, but don't go too far, as excess fabric will make it look bigger instead of smaller.

Shoulder seams.

The seams where the sleeves meet the body should line up exactly with the point where the shoulder ends rather than down over the arm or into the neck.

Sleeves

The sleeves of a jersey affect hitting up to the middle of the upper arm. Sleeves that extend a little lower can seem proportional if you are very tall.

Length.

The bottom hem of the shirt should not be higher than the hips, it should at least cover the waist and a few inches below. A little shorter you run the risk when you bend them to show your back/cracks in the butt/tummy. Longer than that and the shirt will resemble a nightgown.

Form

Avoid boxy T-shirts that are used as a sandwich board with sleeves. You want the shirt to be cut so that it follows your body shape a bit.

It can be difficult to find a shirt that fits all of these metrics well, but it's worth looking for.
