traveling.
Safari Timing in Kanha
Usually, safaris are
organized two times a day – morning and evening, and charges are applied
individually. The timing for morning safari is from sunrise to 11.30 am and from 3 pm till sunset. Be sure to check the timing as it varies as per the season.
Peak Season
Kanha National Park opens
October to June 30. The park remains closed in the afternoon on Wednesday.
Jungle safari is also not available on Diwali and Holi festivals.
What is the Safari
Charges?
You need to fill in a proper
passport and photo ID details while booking an online safari. These may not
change. You can add other participants after a week of booking and pay Rs. 1500
along with the permit fees. These charges may vary as per the season. The permit
charge for jungle safari is Rs. 1550 with Rs. 600 as a guide charge. The charge
for hiring a safari jeep is Rs. 2500. You can also go for canter safari which
costs Rs. 500 per person. These rates may vary from time to time.
