Pay the fare difference between the earlier booked flight and upgraded  and click on continue in order to confirm it.
The new upgraded flight will be then sent to the mail address of the user.
It is also recommended to go through all the policies before making the up gradation.
Southwest airline has 24 hours cancellation policy so it means if you are making upgrade within 24 hours from original booking then no fee will be charged.
Up-gradation will not be allowed till 3 days from departure.
