How Do I Install or Reinstall Quicken for Windows From a CD?

Before starting:

If you have not purchased a copy of the CD and need to download a copy of Quicken to install or restore the program, follow the instructions found here.

Quicken Membership Users, do you know that you do not need a CD to install Quicken? To download quicken for Windows, click here. To download quicken for Mac, click here.

If you have a CD and your computer does not have a CD / DVD drive, click here.

To install or restore Quicken:

Both the installation and the reinstallation of Quicken follow the same process:

Insert Quick CD into your CD drive Installation should start automatically.

What happens if the installation of the CD does not start automatically?

Welcome to the first window you will see! We will guide you through the Eschen configuration. Click on "Go" to continue.

ONLY FAST 2017 AND 2016: the next step is to accept the license agreement. If you accept, verify that I agree with the terms ... then click Next.

The default location where Quicken will be installed is the destination folder. It is on your local hard drive. Click on "Install" to continue.

The next windows you will see will show you the progress to install and install updates, if they are available.

When finished, you will see the complete installation! When you click Done, it will open immediately. If you are not ready to open yet, simply uncheck the box below. Now start using Quicken.

After opening Quicken, log in with your Quicken ID and password. Then complete the registration (tell us about yourself). Quicken will automatically open your most recent data file or you can open a new file.

When the installation is complete, we recommend that you follow the steps indicated here to confirm that you are in the latest version of your version of Quicken.

Quicken for Windows 2016 users: If you have installed a Quicken for Windows 2016 and can not open the program, follow the steps below.
