Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream- Mouth- Watering And Easy To Make

Ice cream, the mere mention of the word brings a bright smile on our faces. Isn’t it? Despite our age or gender, we simply love gorging yummy ice creams every now and then. The market is largely flooded with hundreds of ice cream stores offering varied flavors of ice creams. Different people love different flavors of ice cream including salted caramel, cherry, vanilla, olive oil, peach, chocolate chip, pistachio, peppermint, frozen yoghurt, green tea and more such flavors. Even though there are extensive flavors of ice cream at the disposal of people, still vanilla remains all-time favorite of all.

You have two ways to savor vanilla ice cream- either you can take the easy way out and purchase it from a nearby ice cream parlor or you can try homemade ice cream. Nothing can beat the taste and charm of homemade ice cream. Now the question arises- how to make yummy ice cream at home.
Let us learn a simple yet delicious vanilla ice cream recipe-

Ingredients required


The ingredients which you require include 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 2/3rd cup sugar, 1 cup whole milk, 2 cups heavy cream and 1 vanilla bean, scraped.

Directions to make the ice cream

Mix vanilla, sugar, milk and cream in a saucepan and heat till sugar completely dissolves. Before you remove the pan from the heat, scrape the seeds from the vanilla bean and stir in to the cream mixture. Now, pour the mixture into a bowl and cover it with plastic wrap. Place the mixture in the refrigerator and let it to chill or keep it in an ice bath until it is cool. The next step is to freeze the mixture in an ice cream maker following the manufacturer’s instructions.
Store the ice cream in an air tight container and let it freeze for another two hours. Your homemade ice cream is ready to serve.
