by Jeduka Helpdesk Education Counsultant

For more than 20 years, Campus France has been organizing events in France and abroad to highlight and promote French higher education. This year Campus France India and French Institute in India jointly organized events to bring Indian students face-to-face with leading French institutes and universities through a multi-city education tour. The Choose France Tour was organized in four cities, Kochi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi, from the 11th to the 16th of October.

"Choose France Tour 2022"

During the "Choose France Tour 2022," Campus France hosted a series of education fairs in India from October 11 to October 16, 2022. Students from all around India interested in studying abroad had a fantastic opportunity to learn more about their options for studying in France.

Choose France Tour has presented Indian students, especially high-school graduates, with various prospects for pursuing advanced studies in France. Students got the chance to get first-hand information from representatives of 37 leading universities, Grandes Ecoles, and colleges about the programs they can attend,

Students got a unique opportunity for one-on-one meetings with the schools. These individual meetings allowed them to share their CV and receive free counseling directly from the schools on how to apply next year! The Choose France Tour 2022 was also an opportunity for Indian and French educators and academicians to explore potential collaboration.

Why Study in France?

The representative presented many reasons to study in France during the education fairs. Here are a few of them:

  • French institutions are among the best-ranked worldwide.

  • Business, Management, Engineering, Hospitality & Tourism, Arts, Social Sciences, French Language, and Public Institutions; France has everything!

  • To attract Indian students, the French are ready to teach English, which was improbable a few years ago. 1700+ English-taught programs in France. Students can opt to study in English or French, or both.

  • More than 500 French scholarships are available to Indian students.

  • France permits Indians to work after they complete their higher education in France. Experts also said that more than 1000 companies are working in India, either French or in collaboration with a French enterprise. It’s an impressive list with Airbus, Renault, Decathlon, and L’Oréal, to mention a few. These companies will be inclined to hire students who studied in France since they will get along with them culturally.
