Fitness is not only about being fit physically, it also means a person's state of mental level. A person can not work properly if he is just physically fit, but mentally disturbed. If one's body is functioning well, only then he can achieve mental fitness. There are methods to stay mentally fit, such as relaxing mind by eliminating stress and exercising regularly and eating healthy food.

 

What Do You Mean By Physically Fit?

 

Physically fit means a person, who exercise daily, keeps his bod fit, eat healthy food, and maintain his optimum weight. Physically fit persons are also not prone to cardiac and other health problems, because an unhealthy body invites all the diseases. A person who is mentally fit and physically fit, is strong enough to face all the ups and downs of life, and is not affected much if drastic changes takes place.

 

How Can One Become Physically Fit?

 

To become physically fit, one has to change his lifestyle. Fitness requires regular exercises and healthy eating. To become physically and mentally fit, one has to stop eating junk food, artificial flavored soft drinks, avoiding smoking and alcohol, and get adequate amount of rest. Just by quitting all these elements from your routine, you will allow your body to detox and become stronger.

But, don't just stop here. You need to spend more time in outdoor activities, like having walk in the park so that you get fresh air, and by taking part in many health activities such as running, swimming, and playing games like football, basketball, cricket, etc.

 

Benefits Of Staying Physically Fit

 

Staying fit and active means keeping the functioning of our body at a high level. Exercise on a daily basis will burn off the calories, keep our weight under control and also maintain the performance of our heart and lungs. Working out will also improve our endurance, strength, increase joint flexibility and improve muscle strength.

Furthermore, staying fit also helps to fight diseases. Doing physical activities decreases the risk of heart diseases, and also decreases the risk of stroke, diabetes, colon cancer, and high blood pressure. Doing exercises regularly associates with less visits to a doctor and hospitalization.

But, don't just exercise for the sake of it, indulge yourself into it and enjoy it rather than getting bored. It will also increases the overall happiness in your life and relieve the symptoms of depression, stress and anxiety. Set your routine in that way, so that you can do exercise daily for 45-60 mins, and if possible, convince your buddy too so that you two don't get bore alone and enjoy doing exercise.

 

What  Physical Activities Are Really Beneficial?

 

Its not important that you are not able to do exercises properly, or you are not repeating them enough. The only thing important is that whether you are doing something or not It is not. Any type of basic exercise like walking, swimming, bicycling or playing sports will contribute to your physical fitness. You can also upgrade your fitness level by joining a local gym, fitness center, or yoga classes that suits your interests.

When you start exercise, don't just do every thing in the starting. Prepare your body and increase your blood flow by warming up for 5-10 minutes. Warm up, stretch your body, bend your waist and back, so that your flexibility increases and risk of injury decreases. Perform your 25-35 minutes workout and again follow a 5 minute warm up .
