favors ecologically carbon footprint reduction, which results in a change of

attitude of consumers and retailers towards stand up pouch segment.

In Europe, around one third of stand up pouches is made for wet pet food.

The soft drink beverage companies are looking forward to putting stand up

Already the ketchup and mayonnaise produced in east Europe have applied

stand up pouches to food package.

The advantage of stand up pouch is that the laminate materials have higher

barrier quality from puncture, light, and oxygen.

Stand up pouches is also a very good pre-made pouches that are light

weight and thus save supply chain cost.

The stand up pouch sector will still make rapid growth over the next few

years.
