Easiest Ways to Recover From a Hangover

by Ankita Sehgal Freelance Blogger, Lives in New Delhi
The party season is on-going and if you are an alcohol person, you find yourself drinking every time when a wonderful cocktail drink is served to you, ignoring the mindful self-talks you did in order to prevent alcohol consumption. The game goes on full night – and, you don’t even realize how you end up drinking the entire lot. While the night came forth as a blessing to you, the morning after presages the worst nightmare – a hangover. But, here we won’t go round and round with the problem and make it even more convoluted, rather we will focus on the solutions!

Our carefully curated hangover recovery guide will help you big time. Have a look:

1) Water, Water, Water

Believe it or not, water is a miracle liquid. Alcohol causes dehydration and that’s why when you wake up in the morning after a heavy drinking night, something in your head feels heavy – hangover headaches, they call it. The worst part – they come along with other debauched symptoms like nausea, dizziness etc. Well, you can avoid a hangover if you make sure that when you are drinking alcohol, you are also drinking lots and lots of water. This will balance things out and you won’t have to wake up with a heavy head, the next morning!

2) A Toast Will Save Your Day

No, we are not talking about raising toasts here. We are simply suggesting you to make the bread toast your saviour when you are struggling with a hangover. Bread toast is rich in carbohydrates and can regulate your blood sugar levels which go all haywire, thanks to your heavy drinking knacks.

3) Cheeseburger

We know you are going to be surprised finding a cheeseburger mention here but trust us, a cheeseburger or anything greasy after a heavy drinking night can actually be useful. Foods like these can easily bring down the absorption levels of alcohol and make you feel less intoxicated.

4) Pain-relieving medicines

When nothing works for you, you need to bring in some chemical help to cure your hangover symptoms, otherwise, you won’t be able to carry through the day with ease. Take pain-relieving medicines to cure that stubborn hangover headache. However, make sure that you only go for nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Nowadays, personalised hangover kits are quite popular with folks who are fond of partying. Whether you are throwing your wedding party or simply a birthday party, gift your guests personalised hangover kits and receive wonderful blessings in return!
