Destiny 2: Our 8 tips for getting started

Destiny 2 has just been released, and with its "MMORPG" components, it is understandable that some players panic over the multitude of content and things to do, as well as the relative complexity of the menus. To help you, here is Destiny 2 carry service and some tips that should help you make a successful start, to better prepare the crazy post-game that awaits you!

1. Choose your starting class well

Titan, Hunter and Arcanist. Here are the three classes available in Destiny 2, and from the start of the adventure, we will have to make a choice. The Titan is a kind of " tank ", comfortable from a distance, but also extremely effective in close combat. The Hunter is somewhat its antithesis: more mobile but less sturdy, we will use it especially for attacks from a distance. As for the Arcanist, he is somewhere in between, with devastating class powers! It is therefore depending on your way of playing and your desires that you can make this crucial choice!

2. Rush to level 20 directly

There is a fairly simple way to reach the maximum level, level 20, without much effort: by finishing the story and ending the mini-quest that serves as an epilogue, you are automatically propelled to the maximum level! It's up to you to decide whether you want to immediately access the post-game and loot more and more powerful weapons, or advance little by little.

3. Play with your friends!

Destiny 2 is a very good game, and like its big brother Halo, it is much nicer to play it in cooperation! So make a call to your best friends, join online and loop the campaign together from start to finish. Or in LAN if not, with a small 6 to 5 a.m., where everyone has their PS4 and their screen (with remote play on PC, it's very easy), their beer and their pizza: It's very nice and that should be enough to finish the story mode! Imperishable memories in perspective!

4. Build a small social network for raids

Unlike assaults and PvP matches, Dark Night assaults and raids do not offer Matchmaking. If there is no one in your squad, you will start the mission alone. It's up to you to use the online features of the game, such as Clans or your friends list, to concretize contacts who can accompany you on these dangerous missions with delicious loots! You can also use the Gameblog forums, or one of the Clans of our community (the official "GAMEBLOG.fr" clan, or even "The Croissant Wizards"!

5. Remember to complete the daily challenges

Destiny 2 offers its share of challenges to complete in a limited time. Three in number, and changing regularly, it will always be wise to take a look at them and try to complete them at the same time as your current activities, for always more delicious loots!

6. Don't hesitate to go level up in PvP

If you chose not to follow my second tip, the great alternative to cooperative play modes is competitive play. Not only will you gain experience, but in addition to the loots more than interesting if you manage to win the game! PvP is an excellent alternative to everything else to boost your character, even in post-game to recover ever more powerful loot!

7. Learn the doctrines as quickly as possible

In Destiny 2, you start the game with only one of the doctrines available for your class. The others will have to be learned. How? 'Or' What? By looting the precious sesame in random chests. The first appears from level 7, and the second from level 14. When you reach these stages, I advise you to farm a little public events, the doctrines never take very long to fall ... So, you can use different special powers faster to vary your game!

8. Combine learning the doctrines and the powder magazine

At some point in the game, Cayde-6 invites you to complete a "powder magazine". This event simply involves wrapping up 5-6 public events. And ho surprise, learning the doctrines once the parchment is retrieved asks you the same thing ... Take the opportunity to advance your two milestones at the same time, and kill two birds with one stone!
