Design and Control Smart Devices with the Amazon Alexa Module

Recently, RAK launched a service that enables clients and customers to implement and integrate the Amazon Alexa Module. It also launched the Open Beta Testing Program for ‘WisCore’, an Amazon Voice Service (AVS) inside Open Source Hardware Kit.

The RAK Amazon Alexa Module includes the Alexa Voice Service which enables users to interact with Alexa’s real time voice. This is possible by integrating and embedding Alexa’s APIs into specific products. This MT7628chipset uses a powerful codec that can implement the ASR function, enabling designers to integrate their smart devices with Alexa functionality and capability. It boasts of a stable SDK version and supports user mass production. It provides a throughput support up to 300 MBps and ensures excellent performance for RF. It is compatible with Arduino hardware and Raspberry Pi and has a state-of- the-art Full Duplex Stereo Acoustic Echo cancellation feature.

The Amazon technology is able to recognize speech and natural language which enables customers to use their voice naturally in order to interact with devices, services and content.
