Complete Guide To Switching Off and Rebooting All iPad Models

It may be that you don’t want to switch off your iPad each day, but sometimes, it gets compulsory to do so. For instance, your device is low on battery and you want to switch it off while it gets charged to boost the process.

It is very easy to switch on an iPhone.

1.   Firstly, do a long press on/off/sleep switch till the display gets lighted up.

2.   After the display gets lighted up, let go of the button.

3.   Lastly, the iPad will get booted.

The method of switching off an iPad

1.   Firstly, do a long press on the on/off/sleep button.

2.   Then, continue pressing the button till a slider gets displayed before you.

3.   Next, tap the slider to switch off by pushing it rightwards entirely. Or select Cancel to have the iPad switched on.

4.   Lastly, if prefer selecting to switch it off, you shall note a small wheel that keeps spinning at the mid of the display itself before getting dark and switching off.

The method of dealing with the situation when your iPad doesn’t switch on or off

There come some cases when an iPad respond to anything whenever you wish to boot it up. There can be plenty of reason behind it. Fortunately, you can quickly solve this issue by doing a long press on the power switch and home switch altogether for a few seconds. This will force the gadget for rebooting.

Prefer using Airplane Mode rather than closing your iPad completely

Fortunately, you can use your iPad while traveling on an airplane. It is not compulsory to close it during the flight. iPad can be used on an airplane even during takeoff or landing at the time when devices like laptops are not supposed to be used. The only thing to remember is to put your iPad on an Airplane.

The appropriate time for resetting an iPad

The reset and rebooting are many of the times used alternatively, but both of them are entirely different. You should not reset your iPad till any fault is there with the software. And you should only go for reset at the end after trying out different ways of solving your problem. For instance, if the menu or the screen doesn’t work the way it is supposed to work, then at that time you should do a reset.
