Common Side Effects of Lean Drink

by Minhaz R. Writer

Lean is an illegal drug that grew up in the hip hop and rap communities. It is easy to come by, cheap to buy, and many users feel that it is even less harmful than many prescription drugs. In addition, many rappers started glorifying the recreational use of the lean drink as a means to express their art. Their lyrics even said things such as "I'm tripping heavy I'm tripping fat, I'm tripping hard." The mainstream noticed the trend and banned it from many states, yet still many continue to partake in its use.

Unfortunately, some people seem to be taking advantage of the trend to intentionally overdose on lean or purple drank. For instance, if someone is high on the purple drank and falls off of a balcony, they can easily die as their body loses vital fluids through the nose and mouth. However, if they were to take an overdose on the purple drank, then they could possibly die from asphyxiation, as their lungs will not receive the oxygen that they would receive with normal breathing.

This is why it is important for individuals who are considering experimenting with the lean drink to also take into consideration the side effects that it could have. Some individuals may experience minor side effects such as nausea, diarrhea, or a mild case of vomiting. Others may experience much more severe side effects including respiratory depression, seizures, heart palpitations, chest pain, chronic fatigue, and even liver failure. If someone was to ingest just one ounce of the concentrated lean drink, then they could become very intoxicated, which means that they would be unable to perform basic tasks such as walking, and might also vomit frequently.

In addition to the above side effects, another problem that some individuals experience is that they become addicted to the lean drink in question. With so many individuals consuming this drug on a daily basis, their bodies will build up a tolerance and will need more of the substance in order to produce a certain level of withdrawal symptoms, such as severe headaches and nausea. This is why it is important for an individual to carefully research the lean drink that they plan to purchase and ensure that it does not contain anything that could cause them to become addicted to it. The best way to determine if a lean drink contains codeine is to check the ingredients list for the product. If you see codeine listed, then you know without a doubt that it is a legal prescription drug.

If a person chooses to use the lean to get high, then they are going to experience all of the aforementioned problems as well as some other ones that are unique to those who are constantly on the edge of a high. Codeine is the main ingredient in this product and is highly addictive. If someone consumes enough lean to become addicted, then they are in danger of experiencing the same problems that alcoholics experience. Because it is illegal and has potent side effects, it is better for an individual to stay far away from the lean product in order to avoid experiencing these negative side effects.

Although many people think that the stomach and duodenum hurt during a Lean Drink, they actually do not. This drink is designed to make the user feel more relaxed, calm and relieved from a variety of different ailments including the common cold. Because it is so easy to develop a dependency upon it, there are those who choose to consume large amounts of this product on a regular basis in order to feel better. If you notice that you are experiencing nausea, vomiting, or extreme side effects such as severe headaches and dizziness after consuming a large amount of lean cough syrup, then it is best to stop consuming the product rather than putting yourself at risk.
