The trick involves the adding of an extra character in the address of the video. To be more specific, you may need to add (.) just after the (.com). It would help if you searched “youtube.com./watch?v=uK3jnIATgI4” in place of “youtube.com/watch?v=uK3jnIATgI4” to watch an ad-free video.

How does it block YouTube ads in the video?

This small change in the URL breaks the page in the specific ways that can remove all the ads, possibly without any issue. The advertisements that you have seen at the beginning of the video get blocked if you follow the same step. This trick or small change in the link will work on your desktop and mobile both, but for accessing this trick, you may need to pull the desktop version on your phone.
