Bell Store Bell - Appleby Crossing Salesperson Offers Detailed Answers

by Shiloh Fletcher Free Lance Writer
The last time I entered a two year cellular phone contract, I ended up being quite disappointed. Before signing up again, I was determined to do my homework. I started by asking my family and friends about their experiences. Many had positive things to say about the service they received from one of the Bell stores. After checking the telephone directory, I learned the closest Bell store to me was Bell - Appleby Crossing and decided to talk with them before doing anything else.

The following day, I arrived at the Bell Store Bell - Appleby Crossing just as they were opening. I had no intention of purchasing anything; I still had six months to go on my contract. When I was approached by a salesperson, I immediately let him know that I was looking only for information; it would be several months before I was interested in signing up with anyone. Rather than behaving as though he was disappointed, he immediately set about making sure I had all of my questions answered.

He asked me a bunch of questions about how I used my cellular phone, what features I liked and what I wished it was capable of doing. Then he took three phones out of the display case and began explaining why each of those three would be a good fit for me. When I pointed to a phone still in the case that was less expensive, he explained which options I would have to give up if I chose that phone. Just by his explanation, I knew he had heard everything I had to say and had eliminated any guess work for me.

I liked the salesperson and I liked the phone but I still wasn't sold. The problem with my last cellular provider had been the service. As I asked questions about the service, the Bell Store Bell - Appleby Crossing salesperson opened a brochure with all the details about their service plans. He started with a basic explanation but stepped up the technical details as my questions became more focused. It was clear that he was able to answer my questions on whatever level I needed. He even shared some of his own experiences and was willing to provide a realistic picture of their service. I appreciated the honesty.

As I was wrapping up and preparing to leave, the salesman asked me why I planned to wait several months before switching from a service that I clearly didn't like. When I explained that my contract hadn't expired yet, he told me they had a promotion that would allow him to buy out my old contract. That way I wouldn't have to wait and I wouldn't have to pay an early disconnect fee either. As we discussed the details, I became quite interested in moving forward. Then he told me how much I could save by bundling.

The Bell Store Bell - Appleby Crossing bundling plans allowed for a significant discount if you had at least three of their services. They offered internet service, satellite TV, cable TV and home telephone service. I used all of those services but wasn't sure that it would be worth the hassle of switching. Then he showed me real numbers about what I could save and I was ready to switch. Just like switching cellular phone providers, he took care of all the pesky details. I left the store with a cellular phone designed to meet my needs, a service plan that was right for me and unexpected savings. Even a year later, I am still impressed with what they offer and enjoying each of the services I selected.
