Being a Student in a Foreign Nation – The Triumphs and The Trials!

by Emily Rhodes Bad credit loans from direct lender

I always dreamed big, I knew most of my dreams were too big to come ever true, but still, I dreamed on.

Dreams do not cost a thing, and they had a proclivity of making you feel better than you could without them.

One such dream was to study abroad.

I wanted to experience life in a different country. I wanted to go through a phase of independence that an abroad study program would give me.

And so I did. I got a loan for my education, and I was on the journey of a lifetime.

High on Life

Being a student is the most satisfying phase of our lives. We have overcome the dependent phase and have yet to encounter corporate stresses.

We become our person then.

So, when I moved to America, I loved the country, the weather and the people.

University of Dallas, Irving, Texas was my home for the four years. I had my apartment and my terms of living life the way I wanted.

I had classes four days a week, so I had enough time to work part-time to support the expenses that the student loans could not cover.

I was finally independent, secure and living the good life.

Suffering a Blow

America was a whole new world for me, a world that I loved and adored more than anything.

In my adoration of my new home, I lost my way.

My grades started tumbling to the point of being disappointing. I always thought that I would recover those in the next semester.

When my boss fired me because I had shown up late to work for the 100th time, I finally got a reality check.

My job supported me and most of my expenses and without that was lost and in need of cash.

I could not tell my parents about the mess I had created for myself. They would be so disappointed in me.

So, I looked online for my options and needed a solution that would be instant and hassle-free. I was yet to pay the rent for the month. I was looking for a new job, but it could take some time, and my landlord would not be that accommodating.

I finally found one. It was an online lender providing loans for bad credit with no guarantor and no fees for the unemployed. I had a small stipend, I received from the university, and that was enough for the lender to grant me the loan.

Once that loan was wired into my account, my life started turning for the better.

Focusing on the Future

Three months later, I graduated with a degree in psychology and a job lined up with an eminent psychologist in Houston.

I had all the intentions of going back to London. However, I would only do that once I had all the experience and the skill to open up my practice.

Three months ago, the world seemed almost too bleak for me. If you ask me I needed to be hit with reality to find my way because if I had not graduated my class, my purpose of coming to this country would have been futile.

I came to learn, I came to overcome, and I came to conquer.

Although there were my efforts that made me able to do all of that, loans played a massive role in my success. If it weren’t for loans, I would not even have been able to acquire an education in my own country, let alone the USA.

I could not be more grateful for them and their existence.
