Bamboozled by Bangalore

by Manish Kumar Marketing Head

The hi-tech city Bangalore bedazzles everyone with not just its beautiful infrastructure, but with the most amazing aspect of nature which is generally visible everywhere, but may not be this beautiful; it is the clouds. The clouds of Bangalore are not clouds. They are cotton candies in real, floating in the sky.

The sky! Oh! So beautiful it is there. Nobody must have looked at Bangalore like this. But this is the inert beauty of the city. The sky and the clouds in Bangalore is huge canvas right on the top of everyone’s heads, painted with the most beautiful shade of blue ever, with perfect settings of the fluffiest clouds!

Apart from the sky and the clouds, Bangalore, with its beautiful weather is basically a home to the IT sector of the country. That makes Bangalore quite advanced in terms of infrastructure. The roads have a particularly beautiful aspect attached to them. Again, even this is not one of the easily noticeable things. But it surely exists. It is the roads have trees that are beautifully lined up on both the sides of the roads and, which bow towards each other, making the perfect canopy.

Bangalore has a lot of things to offer for the tourists to see. But the first thing that any tourist might want to get sorted with is the accommodation in that city. Budget hotels in Bangalore have been taking care of this sector in a very fine way. They make sure that the guests have a memorable stay. They are spoilt with great rooms, fine service, and beautiful hospitality. These budget hotels don’t just concentrate on the budget; they are the most smartly designed hotels around. They provide so much at a given price that it is unbelievably fantastic.

A “things to do” list for Bangalore is actually a pretty long one. The best thing is that it is not that there are many attractive places to go to Bangalore, but there are many interesting places to see around Bangalore too. To start within Bangalore, one of the prettiest places to be is the Lal Bagh. It is a mesmerizing botanical garden which houses innumerable flowers and various types of plants. It has an aquarium too. The interesting part is, that it has a glass house too (which mimics London’s former crystal palace)! Other interesting places in Bangalore are The Cubbon Park, UB city, Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, Bannerghatta National Park (it is not inside of Bangalore, but pretty near), Bangalore Palace etc.

Bangalore is accessible by a flight, as well as by a train journey. Train journeys are definitely the more interesting ones. The tourists coming by train need not get into the middle of the city to seek for some good accommodation. There are some brilliant hotels near the Bangalore railway station which are very well known for their hospitality and services. Bottom line is, exploring Bangalore is taken care of, the minute one gets off the train.
