At first, there was no information about the next season, but recently co-showrunners Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson Revealed that the plot for season 6 is ready.

The extra episodes of the series allowed them to delve deep into the mythology and explore the characters. On the question of any chances of season seven, they explained that season 6 is going to be the last of their story and said, “It’s the story we were always going to tell.

Modrovich added that “one giant story” will play out in season six “that just needed to be told” and that this addition is “what really stuck the landing for us”.

Since the outbreak pandemic has locked down the world in the confines of their home, the makers too have not been able to start shooting, and so there is no trailer as yet.

What Is The Premise Of The Show

The series is about Lucifer Morningstar, an angel who was cast out of heaven because of his betrayal. Being the Lord of hell, he becomes bored and unhappy, he leaves his throne and the kingdoms and goes to Los Angeles, where he opens a club called “Lux”.

He later finds out that he is involved in a murder case and meets the detective, Chloe Decker. She invites him to join the Los Angeles Police Department, which he accepts and becomes a consultant to the LAPD. Lucifer and Chloe find lost happiness together.
