Aer LingusTakes On 200 Cabin Crew As It Expands Flights

Just look at the recent confirmation by Aer Lingus, for example, that it has recruited up to 200 cabin crew in readiness for what promises to be a strong summer for the Irish airline.
More Flights Between The UK And Ireland
The Dublin-based airline’s new recruits will be assigned at first to its short-haul network on flights between the UK and Ireland, which have been expanded due to demand. A morning flight has been added to the carrier’s Dublin-Heathrow route, while the Cork-Dublin route will see an additional six flights a week.
Aer Lingus Regional, which is responsible for a further 20 routes between the UK and Ireland, has recently introduced a Newquay-Cork service. Aer Lingus and Aer Lingus Regional are responsible for as many as 517 flights a week from the UK and Ireland.
Great News For European And International Travellers
Capacity on key holiday routes to the likes of London, Lanzarote, Tenerife and Gran Canaria has been boosted by the airline’s decision to add up to 100,000 seats to European destinations. Meanwhile, a winter route between Dublin and Fuerteventura has been extended into the summer schedule.
A Los Angeles service is also now available on a more frequent basis, rising to one flight a day from Friday 26th May for the rest of the summer. There will also be more Orlando flights, increasing to four times a week, with Chicago flights rising to double daily in the same time frame.
The new cabin crew were given extensive training at the airline’s in-house Training Academy at Dublin Airport, where they learned about such topics as health and safety procedures and guest experience.
The newly qualified staff will operate flights across the more than 100 routes on Aer Lingus’ European network.
