A Library of Answers for Seniors and Their Caregivers Through Experts In Aging

As a caregiver, I have found it to be a real issue finding answers to basic questions both for myself as a caregiver and for the care of my parent.

In the community, as I have spoken with different ones over the past few years, I have noticed this is a consistent challenge for many.

Our caregivers and seniors face real challenges in finding trustworthy local providers. The new release of the Experts In Aging mobile app and website is making a BIG difference and becoming THE go-to resource for us, and truly picking up the slack in this area.

They provide us with a library of videos and connections to trustworthy local providers that offer answers to many complex questions. I can research a variety of topics from Cancer Awareness, humor (which honestly is THE best medicine!), Adult Day Care services, Legal Aid, grief support, hospice, Senior employment, and much more. When I have ANY question, this is truly a comprehensive resource, a library, of answers open for discovery.

When I discussed some of the features in this library with my parent, they explained to me how liberating it was to see some of the things they could look into and research for themselves. That was a real "Aha!" moment for us!

Experts In Aging is a local based team in Upstate SC and have combined over 25 years of experience. This includes having been involved in Senior Care as caregivers, employees, managers, and advisers. They are personally aware of the issues and challenges facing seniors and their families from their own personal experiences.

They started by answering questions from friends and family about situations they were confronted with. In 2018 they responded to the increased demand for their assistance and began actively searching for available information. When they realized that the information was discovered in such a confusing range of locations and that certain answers were more discover-able while others were much more complicated, even with their experience.

At that point, they determined to make this information more publicly available, and they developed the free video library called “Experts In Aging” for us.

Senior living comes with a number of questions about suitable housing, where to get needed supplies, ideas for senior activities, and senior support services.

The mission of the Experts In Aging team is to become active participants in helping older ones and their caregivers find answers to the varied, often complicated questions, and to help connect them with vetted providers in their local area. To find the answers to the questions that you may not even have thought about.
