Established on the 24th of December 1955, the Jadavpur University in Kolkata is a unitary type of technical university. 5.     Calcutta Girls’ College, Kolkata

Calcutta Girls’ College was established in the year 1963 and it was affiliated with the University of Calcutta. Smt. Ena Ghosh founded this college and later on became the Principal founder. Along with her, there were signatories like the then Labour Minister of WB, Bijoy Singh Nahar and Labanya Prova Dutta (Ex-MLA).
