Surrounded by 20,000 deities, Lord Swaminarayan's statue is the centrepiece here and there are important personalities in the Indian history. The rich traditions, architecture and timeless spirituality of the Indian culture are very well displayed by this temple.

 

The Akshardham complex has India’s largest stepwell and it also has a beautiful open garden.The best time to visit Akshardham is during the evening as at that time there is musical water show as well. So you can ideally visit after 4 pm and then watch the water show. However, the temple opens from 9:30 am and closes at 6:30 pm in the evening.
