4 MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT THE LUBRICANTS DEBUNKED

by Asma Kattar Promotional Activities
We live in an era now, where pharmacies and the Internet provide a plethora of lubrication possibilities. If you go to a sex shop, whether online or in person, the number of options can be overwhelming.

Several individuals already consider lubricant to be a necessary and enjoyable element of their sex lives, yet there are still a lot of misconceptions about this slippery material out there.

Allow us to refute the most popular of these misconceptions.

MYTH 1: I'M READY TO GO SINCE MY CONDOM IS LUBRICATED.

Condoms and lubrication complement one other like, well, lube and condoms. Lubricant is essential because unlubricated latex could be extremely dry and produce greater friction as compared to skin-to-skin contact.  Several condoms are pre-lubricated on the exterior to reduce friction. Some condoms also have lubricant on the inside, which could also increase the enjoyment of the individual wearing the condom. More lubrication either on the outside or on the inside of a condom—or both—can heighten the feeling that there is nothing between you and your companion. If your condom is not pre-lubricated you can even use lubricant for condoms available widely.

MYTH 2: ONLY THE ELDERLY OR THE COLD REQUIRE LUBRICATION.

Many people still consider lubricant to be a type of medicine used to treat a dry vagina. However, when we think of anything as a fix, we suggest that the individuals who utilise it are flawed. The truth is that individuals use lubrication for a variety of reasons—and there is nothing incorrect with that.

When you are turned on, blood flows to your genital area, causing them to expand. In terms of female anatomy, the vaginal walls enlarge and create a transparent, odourless natural lubricant that guards against discomfort and friction during sex. There are numerous reasons why your physique might not always produce sufficient wetness to make a sexual session comfortable. Many factors, including dehydration, certain common drugs, unease with your partner or the circumstance, and lack of intense arousal, among others, might prevent the lubrication process. Even if everything is in perfect working order, you may find that lubricant makes sex more delightful. Many individuals do.

MYTH 3: LUBE IS ONLY USED FOR PENIS-VAGINA INTERCOURSE.

Because penetration causes greater friction as compared to other sexual activities, we should use lubrication while having vaginal sex. However, it is not the only sexual activity that could be enhanced by additional moisture. Inserting anything inside the vagina—a fist, fingers, a sex toy- would be easier with lubricant. If your hands are a little slick, rubbing and caressing your partner's vulva or penis may feel extremely heated. Grinding and bumping without penetration can reach new heights when lubrication is used. And, of course, any form of anal activity requires a lot of lubricants because the butt makes none.

MYTH 4: IF SOME LUBRICANT IS EFFECTIVE, MORE MUST BE FAR MORE EFFECTIVE.

Indeed, there is such a thing as being overly wet. While excessive friction might hurt the skin, a little friction is what ends up making sex delightful. Too much lubrication can lessen the feeling. Don't be concerned if you went overboard with your initial application. Wipe a tiny amount away with a towel or the tee shirt you just tossed on the ground.

CONCLUSION

Whenever it comes to choosing a favourite lube, you should first eliminate those that will not work for you. If you use condoms for STI prevention or birth control, oil-based lubricants are out. If you have delicate skin, you should avoid dyes and scented products. Then try it. Set a budget and purchase a few little bottles. Examine which feels more comfortable, how they wash up, and everything else that is essential to you.
