3 Ways to Improve Your Morning

by Jimmy S. Consultant
Beginning the day in the right frame of mind is key for anyone who is looking to be their most productive self. The stress of the day can weigh heavy on the man who is not prepared to take the battle head on. Saying this, there are many ways someone may prepare themselves to be the absolute best they can be throughout their day.

1.) Gratitude
Before even arising from bed and maybe before you even open your eyes, there should be a moment of pure gratitude. The word "thank you" whispered internally to oneself along with the actual feeling of gratitude. Begin a list of things you are grateul for and continue adding to it while trying to feel the emotions associated with being thankful. It can take practice to become really good at this, but over time it will come with ease and you can begin to carry that blissful feeling into your days.

2.) Morning Routine
I can't stress enough the importance of a morning routine. Just a few simple tasks that you do everyday to start your day off on the right foot. These should be relatively easy and quick things like; writing in a journal for 10 minutes or heading somewhere quiet to meditate. Begin to sleep and wake at the same times. Do not make it too hard on yourself at the beginning and you will begin to stack up wonderful habits that will benefit you for years to come.

3.) Quiet
For the first 30 minutes of your day you should be engulfed in complete silence. Do not pick up your phone and do not turn on the tv. Be one with yourself for just a little bit. This is one of the greatest things you can do for yourself. People these days struggle to have any time with themselves and we must be comfortable in silence. You will see the benefits almost immediately.
