My Forum Directory group in APSense is going well - The importance of forums

I'm pleased to see my group filled with some quality links to lead people to forums where people can share and advertise their link and also aid people in looking for opportunities. I'm also glad that a member has joined me and I look forward in seeing more people joining and sharing some forum links as well. Here's a link to my group:

I also wanted to blog a little about the importance of forums. Just like APSense, forums are a great way to deliver your advertising to a targetted audiance. By joining work at home forums, you can really tell that whatever advertisements you'll share will captivate members of that forum since most likely they have a purpose of either advertising their own or seeking opportunities.

One of the most important things you should know about joining a forum is reading their rules carefully so you won't have a bad impression by the members and staff. Also make it a rule of thumb not to advertise right away. Play it cool and introduce yourself and participate in the "General Discussion" threads. Make sure too that before you get started, you put your signature and a link to your site. That way whatever content you post, your ad will follow (again make sure it doesn't violate the rules). My type is to make around 10-15 posts in 3 days time and then start making posts about my site.

By getting involved in forums, not only you have a good chance in getting some additional traffic to your site, but in most cases, your posts are going to stay forever and most forums won't go down anytime soon. Also Google loves to crawl on forums as well getting your site out there. Always good to make it a habit to join several forums if you want to get notice. Best of all it's free!
