A little trivia for the Birthday Boys

by Cheryl Baumgartner Medical Billing/Coding/Insurance
On July 31st several interesting things happened:

The US patent office first opened it's doors and issued the first patent in 1790.
The cornerstone of the Philadelphia mint was laid in 1792 making it the first government building in the US.
Thomas Edison received a patent for the phonograph in 1877.

And then lots of interesting successful people were born on this day.
Thanks to this day we have Harry Potter, saving us from evil wizards an the like.  Author J.K. Rowling was born in 1965.  We are safe from vampires as the popular Blade (Wesley Snipes) came on the scene in 1963.  And if that wasn't safety enough TV's Superman (Dean Cain) was born in 1966.

There's a couple of other interesting people who were born on this day.
Our own  Super Techman,  MoRambler made his debut today and
Bushman, AKA Garnet Nagy  appeared in the wilds of Canada!

To our APSense SUPER Heroes, Happy Birthday and may you have many many more!
