GWB....nooooo. not George Washington Bridge!   Jr. Bush, The President!

OK... so we know what he was like as the President for the past too-long almost 8 yrs...just for the fun of it, What Career or Profession do you think Bush should have chosen or would have been better at than at the Presidency of the greatest Democracy of the World?

Well, since I am the "host", I will start off and be kind...how about the FARMER IN THE DELL..with a pitchfork in hand and next to Laura Bush, you know kind of like that painting with the farmer and his wife... than they find " black gold "  like the Beverly Hilbillies...live off the land, away from harm(ing) LOL, where he would not have to worry about making mistakes about history, geography, english, culture, ethnicity while talking to other Heads of States/Countries and talking to reporters, etc....

OK Gang... now your suggestions please.... take some hints from these videos!@

He'd make a great Jester at the Renaissance Fair...

If he can't speak modern english and still manage to make people pee themselves laughing, imagine if he "learnt " a bit of Olde English and a few jokes... It would certainly be worth the high admission prices and the occasional bee up your kilt, don't you think? :)

Please let me not see such a visage nor hear said lame humor should I wind my way upon
the Renaissance Faire ...for such fair dayes ought not be dimmed by damnable dingbats
such as he!

How about... He can work in a bookstore at the Mall in downtown Houston or? since
bookstore employees don't seem to know what books are available anyway...

Garnet...Thinking helps doesn't it?! which is something Bush says often is a good idea but does not do! I like your idea of sticking him in a "barn"...can't imagine him "stinking" any worse than he already does though...LOLLL

Peaceful...Jester would suit him real fine, wouldn't it???!!! He is more of a clown, trying to get a laugh than a President anyway..

Beth ... I love your attempt at Olde Eng. I have no clue...and Shakespeare was a long time ago...LOL
Care to give some lessons? LOLL

Garnet...he would be pulling out all his hair out in the Complaints Dept...he would have no solutions, maybe in the Complaints Dept of an Oil Co..where he could lie his way through !

You may not like George Bush but he is our President.
He does deserve to be respected.
He has always done what he thought was for the best.
Sure he has made some mistakes, some bigger than others.
Who amoung us hasn't?
You always knew where he stood.
I happened to like the man very much.
I think if you were to ask the men and women who are fighting overseas what they think of him you would find that the majority of them think as I do about him.
YES, I am a "Rush Babe," the conservitive from Michigan and proud to have both titles.

I think, rather than be trying to discover what he could, should or might be - maybe we should be, first, finding out if his condition is curable. The man is obviously seriously ill.

Hi Cindy,

He may be your president but he is not mine. Anyways, I am sure he deserves the same respect any other individual deserves(sorry, I play favorites with no one) and if he wanted to criticize or make jokes about me he is more than welcome, I may even just take the advice or laugh :)

Now, I don't know just what your politicians are like in the USA, but here in Canada they like to tell us how good industrialized farming is for us...like for instance these hog barns where they cram 20,000 pigs under one significantly small roof and proceed to tell us how they won't smell and how many jobs they are 'creating'(about 12 per barn, and 20,000 pigs which would equate to roughly 100 small farms plus spin-off).

Sadly, I've never seen one of these politicians come anywhere near one of them suckas, or even near enough to witness the raw stench you will find 15 miles away on a breezy day!

On second thought, politicians in general will have more respect from myself when they quit playing God and start getting their hands dirty!

Hi Cindy.....it seems we stepped on some toes! I think running a country is no easy task, but some President's do it better than others; in my opinion, Bush did not do a good job. Going into war under false pretenses ( as are becoming apparent now and that he was aware of many things that he said originally he did not know before declaring WAR). But I am not trying to disrespect anybody...just that he did not do a good job. And those men and women are at his mercy; they would not have to face danger, get killed, or psychologically killed if it were not for Bush's decision.

But ...Gotta love America and its citizens! Great Country!

I am wondering what you would have done if you were in the Presidents shoes and had been given the information that was provided .
I am glad that there has not been a repeat of September 11. So someone must be doing something right, somewhere.
I am most grateful that this war is not taking place on American soil.
By the comments I am reading I can only guess you think the previous President would have saved us all and your hoping that the man who speaks of "change" will make everything right.
I for one am behind what President Bush is trying to do. Even if I am the only one here who thinks that way. I will always stick up for someone who is trying to do the right thing, even if my view is not the popular one.

Hi, Cindy,
I'm pleased to see someone is trying to stick up for Bush but I have to ask where you have been for the last eight years.

Bush and Blurr both KNEW that they were acting on (at the very, very best) unreliable information when they chose to send troops into Iraq to be slaughtered. They both chose to ignore the fact that no weapons of mass destruction were found anywhere in Iraq. They both chose to ignore an international out-cry about their proposed invasion of a sovereign country guarded, in the main, by old men and boys (the regular army was kept out of harms way).
Worse, they both chose to invade behind a massive and totally gratuitous deluge of weapons that could do nothing more than destroy the infra structure and slaughter thousands of innocent civilians.

As for 9/11, I don't think the jury has been allowed to deliberate on who was actually responsible for this action. There are many questions that have not been addressed because the evidence was destroyed with undue and indecent haste. The collapse of the third tower is still a great mystery.

Bush chose to ignore world opinion, once again, and refused to sign the Kyoto treaty. This was a great shame because it meant that American industry saw this as a green light for even greater levels of polution.

I can understand that you think running a country is difficult - for Bush, apparently, running the country DOWN was like falling off a log.

How many of your rights does he have to take away before you see him for what he is? Come to that, does anybody outside his immediate coven know WHAT he is trying to do?

To the rest of the world (let alone America), Bush has been a disaster beyond reconing and his legacy seems to be that Obama and McCain will have to follow in his foot steps.

Cindy... this is by no means an attack on you, please do not take it that way. We all have to get our heads out of the sand ( a bit too late :) now) and see this administration for what it has not done and who they have not found: they have not found the supposed weapons of destruction which caused them to declare war and cause the death of many native Iraqis and MANY innocent people (soldiers) from many countries who did not have the guts to say no to USA for fear of percussions.

Still has not found Bin Laden... had 6 long years!!!!! Why ? This Admin does not want to find him and take on the whole Middle East and turn off the black gold faucet and lose the income they make from oil. He is going to pass on that responsibility to the next Admin; it is easier to blame somebody else, like Clinton or the Admin replacing him. We can go on about Bush's shortcomings... like USA losing respect in the World as well as the value of the DOLLAR! Leaving billions of dollars of debt on many generations to come, more people without healthcare, without jobs, ( so much being outsourced that when you call your bank, your answer comes from the other side of the world if you can understand it at all ), without shelter, more people on welfare lines, more barely make ends meet and go into foreclosure.... on and on ..AND all the things the Old Coot listed above. And as far as protecting us from another Terror Attack...if somebody wanted to cause harm bad enough, they will find a way; look at the number of attempts from within the US.

Supposing he was given incorrect information...Does he not want to save his and the USA's image and demand to find out who gave him the wrong info and punish him/her/them? He and He alone is capable of declaring war, he did, knowingly and under FALSE pretenses.Truthfully, we all should have demanded he step down.

Cheryl... love your choice of careers for him, especially the first one! yep...he told us he DID NOT get correct info and we CONSUMED it ! We are more ignorant than he is.

Cindy,
I was like you in defending our 'president'. Until I did further research. The truth is out there, and you will be shocked, humilated, pissed off...when you come to realize it is all a lie! I hope you take it better than I have. Lol.

Well hello...nomore! Good choice! a Janitor ehhh? he will have to learn how to do that properly as well, maybe he can be in charge of OIL SPILLS; that would keep him out of the political arena for a while. Good to see ya stop by ... thanks!

All joking aside, sadly he did mislead the country and Of course it saddens all of us to see our president mess up as bad as he did; the next one will inherit many of his mistakes and hopefully may the best man win!

Cindy... by the way ... I am from Farmington Hills, Michigan originally, graduated from the HS by the same name and went to college in Marquette; unfortunately moved to NY when we got married -- I don't know where my head was, do not like NY much. And believe it or not I do listen to Rush, Hannity and all the rest; but reality has hit me hard economically to keep being in denial. So we have a lot in common...ohhh don't forget APSense and Skype too!!!
