What is the best way to earn Honor Points?

I'm just curious, as to how you earn honor points.  Which way is the quickest/easiest way of earning them?  Any advice and information is extremely helpful. 

Plus, is there any information anyone can give me as far as the spotlight score goes?
What do I have to do to earn spotlight points. 

As I've said in numerous places, I'm still a bit new to this so I'm not too sure of how to go about increasing these.
