When I first began to market online! .......and quotes about attitude!

When I first began to market online ~ I did not know anything about it at all! I just thought I must have the best product imaginable (becasue I could see how good it was/is) and everyone else would also!

And my life was a bit of a shipwreck at the time! not unlike this quote:

So...long story short...that's what I did. I jumped in a lifeboat called Adlandpro and started rowing (not just singing!)

Soon it became apparent that I still didn't have what I needed. My internet connection was dial-up ... my pc was one of those towers that was nearly 3 feet tall and virtually no memory! Surprisingly it worked quite well though when I was on Adland... My browser didn't support that snazzy posting function where you don't need to know HTML...so, I had to learn basic HTML ~ Very Basic! Learning write ads, to create banners, to size banners to make a mini-webpage to creating a website with a wizard was all much more than I was ready to take on...although those were the fun aspects of online marketing. There was the tedium of relentlessly posting ads and messageing and learning how and why someone networks! (i didn't have a clue)

So, now I'm at a plateau of sorts where I'm wondering what "aren't" I getting?
