10 Mahabharat Arjun Quotes in English

by Sathishbabu Raghav Financial Adviser

Mahabharata is one of the greatest wars and epic of ancient India. It is not just a battle between the two clans Pandavas and Kauravas, but a rich source of some of the greatest lessons of life. It claims that vices like anger, hatred, and pride can overwhelm an individual and lead to the devastation of human entities.

Further, it also sets an example of how war can be destructive for human life and in what way can materialities of life drive one away from morality, knowledge, and karma.

Arjuna was the third of the five Pandava brothers and a great warrior. He not only received the knowledge of Bhagavad Gita from his mentor Lord Krishna before the battle but is also known to kill mighty warriors like Karna.

The Mahabharata short quotes contain important lessons that one can learn from all the characters of this great Indian epic. These quotes on Mahabharata educate one about the essence of life and its virtues.

This article specifically covers some of the important quotes said by Arjuna in this Indian epic.

As long as I am alive, great king, it behoveth thee not to entertain any fear of Drona, although he is the foremost of all wielders of weapons. I further say unto thee, monarch, that my promise never remains unfulfilled. I do not recollect having ever spoken any untruth. I do not recollect having ever been vanquished. I do not recollect having ever, after making a vow, left the least part of it unfulfilled.” - Arjuna to Yudhishthira
