IT Asset Management and Governance Manager Job in Singapore - Base Camp IT Employment

We are looking for talented IT Asset Management and Governance to be part of our client's IT Team. This role, which is parked under the technology risk governance function of the company, In this role, you will oversee the governance of IT assets, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
You will collaborate with various stakeholders to manage IT asset lifecycle, optimize asset utilization, and mitigate risks associated with IT assets.

Job Descriptions
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company's policies, standards and procedures pertaining IT Assets Management.
* Ensure IT Application list is kept up to date.
* Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture team to ensure all relevant architecture diagrams are reviewed periodically and kept up to date.
* Develop and execute IT Asset Management procedures for the company and ensure compliance.
* Perform regular checks on IT assets to ensure records are reconciled against live configuration.
* Track and monitor relevant metrics for IT Asset Management.
* Lead and manage governance for IT Obsolescence Management.
* Collaborate with IT to strategize, plan and secure budget for Tech Refresh / Upgrades and Obsolescence Management.
* Provide regular reports to senior management on the status and health of IT assets.
* Drive continuous improvement in IT asset management processes.

Requirements & Qualifications
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT asset management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
* Experience with IT governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) tools and processes.
* Proven experience in IT asset management or a related field.
* Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks and best practices.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to manage complex projects and make data-driven decisions.
* Certifications in IT Asset Management or IT Governance are highly desirable.
