What's on Offer: * Location: Singapore * Permanent position * Competitive Compensation Job Description: * Provide, install, configure, and maintain systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. * Ensures continuous updates and innovation in infrastructure. * Ensures smooth transition during initiation, planning, development and implementation stages of typical IT or IS project life-cycle. Tasks * Creates system policies and security policies for the system. * Ensures system hardware, operating systems, software, and related MIS procedures adhere to Company policies and values. * Define benefits, user needs, research and development and provide support to users in executing, testing and rolling-out IT projects. * Participate and contributes to the setting of technical strategy, technical analysis and design and smoothing the transition of projects from development to production. * Perform daily monitoring and verifying integrity of all hardware, server resources and reviewing all systems and application logs and projects update. * Perform periodic security monitoring to detect security threats. * Perform daily backup. * Maintain user account access. * Investigate and troubleshoot issues. * Repair and recover from failures (which includes communication with affected users / vendors). * Apply OS and software patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. * Perform scripting to automate tasks. * Upgrade and configure system software's to support GUI interface. * Perform periodic performance reporting within the context of capacity and integrity assessment. * Provide standard hardware and software support throughout the Company Job Requirements: * SQL experience and knowledge is a must * Degree holder, preferably in ComputerScience or Engineering or MIS-related degree * Good grasp over various programming language. * System Administration / System Engineer certification in Microsoft. * Minimum 5 years experience in system administration function. * Experience with SQL, JDE and U8 is preferred.
