If one network marketing opportunity fails find a new one. You already have the skills and experience, so just apply them to a new business! There are plenty of companies out there with different tools and techniques on offer to help you succeed. If you fail try try again until you succeed!

Before you even dream about pitching a product to someone else in network marketing, you need to make sure that you understand how everything works. You won’t even want to wait until the questions start; you’ll do much better to explain it all in layman’s terms as you’re going along.

Try your best to set aside some team office hours that can be used for coaching and advice. Try doing this in the late afternoon. You can then respond to inquiries from the downline ONLY. Stick with network marketing even when you really want to quit. You have to go into this business knowing that things will take some time to get started. You will not be an overnight success. Have patience and keep working hard, and even though it might take a while to see some profit, you will!

If you are ever asked to send a specific amount of money to several different coworkers within your network than you need to evacuate immediately. This means that you are involved with a pyramid scheme which is a type of scam that only benefits the people who are higher in the pyramid.

If you have a team working for you, you should train them to the fullest extent. Do not just throw them out and expect hands full of money in return. Teach them proper marketing skills and make sure they understand business policies before letting them represent you out in the field.

Some one-on-one time with your potential customers might really come in handy if they have some questions for you. Especially if what you’re selling requires a large investment. Treating them to lunch and discussing a little bit of business might just provide the nudge necessary for them to join your team.
