Recently I logged in to my WordPress blog and saw there was a new update, and as usual I clicked to update it to the latest version WordPress 3.5, normally the update will get installed and back to blogging I would go. Not!!!! Not this time, instead I started my road to a non-functioning blog, absolutely nothing worked.

My plugins were useless including CKeditor the best editor in my opinion, and I couldn't make any post, or click on the html tab.

I went from a happy blogger to a frustrated blogger. My first step to action is to Google it, well that ended up causing me hours of searches through several strings in the WordPress forum loads with useless solutions.

Being a person that never gives up I took one more step I went to YouTube and I finally found the solution to my problem, I found a video on how to install the old version of WordPress. If you are also having issues with your personally hosted WordPress Blog go and watch the following video on YouTube and follow it step-by-step. I followed it and I am back to being a happy blogger again.

Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwNR6NVhVFQ

Here is the link to download the old version before 3.5: http://wordpress.org/download/release-archive

Note: The video is from 2011, always keep in mind that from time after time there can be bugs in WordPress, at least now you know how to fix the problem.
