Facebook is wonderful when you understand all the tools you need so you don't get in trouble. However, if you notice, the influx of Facebook "marketing" secrets, ebooks and other silly products out there are starting to disappear. Do you know why? Because there are very very few ways to get around the Facebook Nazi regime....lol and the buzz about "Facebook profits" are dwindling. Here are three more reasons why Facebook is getting overrated.
Too Many Facebook Changes
There have been so many changes with Facebook to the point where regular everyday users are starting to get penalized for chatting with too many people, adding too many "recommended" friends and sharing too much fun content. People are getting their accounts frozen for no apparent reason. Some have even gotten their accounts banned because of regular everyday use. We aren't even talking about marketers.
Facebook Is Weeding Out Marketers
Marketers are trying to find ways to get around Facebook's advertising platform but are now discovering that they have no choice especially when it comes to sharing "page" content. Facebook isn't too favorable for online marketers. Therefore, Facebook is going to make your life a living hell if you don't abide by the extreme rules they have laid out to weed out spammers and online marketers from abusing the platform.
Facebook Marketing Products Are Not Working Anymore
The number one sure sign of a fad or a hot niche dying down is when you see products like the facebook secrets, e-books, and videos die down and almost disappear. When Facebook marketing was at it's peak 4 years ago, it was around the same time Facebook started getting their platform in order in terms of spam monitoring. In the middle of this tenure, there were all kinds of thirsty marketers out there "TEACHING PEOPLE" how to use Facebook to make money.
It wasn't until recently where this product started to backfire. As these so called "Facebook marketing specialists" starting getting negative feedback from "students" who were getting their accounts banned and not being able to get start new accounts. Refunds started getting demanded. Thus making the Facebook Marketing niche died down and cut under the rug. Now you don't really hear about the Facebook marketing specialists anymore because they have been or are becoming neutralized.
