It's common knowledge around Internet Marketing circles that your image has a lot to do with your success. If you are perceived to be a leader, it makes sense that more people would follow you, doesn't it? Isn't that what we want? For people to follow us into whatever program we are promoting?
So what better way to accomplish this than to become a program owner. If you do a good job and help a lot of people, it's only natural they would look to you for advice.
Program scripts and hosting are cheap today and the skills are not that hard to learn, or even to outsource if you are technically challenged. I bought a new script today and to have it installed was only an extra $15 if you needed it.
Maybe that's why they say it takes money to make money? Yet so many people are running around showing their free websites and wondering why nobody follows them?
