It depends on what you want to promote, I use facebook ads ... because returns are very high.

Nothing even comes close to comparing with high end solo ads + professional SEO. You can outsource most of your SEO at places like SEOclerks.com. As far as solo ads go, large targeted lists are the best bet. APSENSE solo ads do very well among other places. Check out Safe-Swaps.

It all depends what you are selling...
PTC sites are best for other PTC sites, like wise traffic exchanges often get best sign up rates for other traffic exchanges, safelists for safelists. Classified ads are great, signature links in forums, there is an absolute wealth of places to advertis. Keep track of where and how successful they are though !

It depends on what kind of program you'd like to promote....:) There are some good places and PTC(s) are commonly good for promoting another PTC too ...IMO...:)
