Every relationship, whether an old or potential one, is essentially built on honesty. That means being truthful to what you, for example say you will do and better make sure you do, otherwise your credibility will for sure start to slide.... I could list many other examples of honesty (underpinned by what Warren referred to as integrity), but maybe I should write an all powerful, New York Times best seller and make a million bucks as well!! Whoop! Whoop! There's a good thought!!

The best method I have found is what's known as the "Feel, Felt, Found" method. Listen carefully to any objections and respond with, I know how you FEEL, I FELT the same when I first started, but what I FOUND is this....... then you have them listening to you. They feel at ease because they know you have had the same doubts they are having and there is empathy, and that's were the trust begins.

I exactly use they own words when they talk (that means to listen carfully to them) and I tell them that because of a lack of time, I can't do it. Otherwise, I would be happy to help them. Then I call back one week later.
