Recently, Houston police arrested John Henry Skillern, a registered sex offender, on child pornography charges following a tip from Google to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that Google had detected child pornography in Skillern's gmail. This arrest leads to two questions:
1. How did Google detect the child pornography in the e-mail?
2. What other content does Google read in the course of transmitting millions of gmail messages each day?

Funny how folks are willing to give up their freedom when they say they have nothing to hide. Not about that you have nothing to hide. It has everything to do with losing your rights to privacy and your willing to go along with it.
You got a Smart Tv in your Bedroom? Guess that's ok too, you have nothing to hide in the bedroom right? After all, Smart Tv are able to record what you say and you can be watched too. Guess you missed that small print when you made that purchase.

I don't mind if Google is reading my emails, I don't have nothing to hide. With many bad things happening on the internet email providers should take actions. Being safe is better then being sorry. Thanks for your information Chuks and Anday. :)
