Offer a FREE item such as an ebook or a video. Advertise this item to drive traffic to a splash page where you can get their email and name. Then build a relationship with that customer. Occasionally make other offers available but always continue to solve that customer's problems.

Make a splash page with an opt-in where you give out a free offer or more. Promote it on high-ranked TE's and Safelists.
I do that every day, and get good results.

Wow yeah I might just have the answer for that. I have a viral ebook that I can give out on 101 ways to advertise. Might be a good avenue, plus my affiliate site is linked in with the ebook. COOL

The answer is simple, forget about capture pages and give away valuable information with no strings attached. Then have that information lead to a resource people can opt-in to for free that helps them further their own agenda, not just yours. This works so well, I decided to start a Free Reports group here on APSense.
