When adding contacts, do you....?

I pay attention to the details.

The main thing I look for when accepting a contact request is: What do we have in common? Common interests & pursuits usually make for good conversations with contacts. Another point, though, is that I've accepted contact requests and then almost immediately received spam links - without ever having had a conversation with the person. I automatically report & delete these people.

I do not screen contacts. I just feel that they want to connect and I oblige. If they share contact information I share mine with them too.

Every contact to me is a potential customer so i add anyone in hope that they share or want to advertise with me

I see no problem adding anyone who wishes to connect. If they provide contact information, I'll share mine also. I've never had a problem and I've connected with some great people.

I absolutely pay attention and reject most of them. To me someone who has a total disregard for plain old common sense is of no value to me.
