Do you go 'Invisible' in Chat status? why?

No I don't hide...I think I tried it once or so not to really hide just finish my posts but it didn't work and I don't really feel right doing it so...I get maybe 5-20 IMs on any given hour which I'm very happy to get...if I'm in a serious chat I just the others I will get back with you...my door is always open to whomever for whatever...I would like to turn the 20 max to 100 someday.

Hi Chuck! You will find a rectangular box at the bottom right hand side in the home page of Apsense, which shows the availability status of online members.If you click on that,you will find various options to regulate your status on availability. Thanks!

What Chat Status are you referring to and where?

I fulllly agree with you faii acy... as I don't encourage my counselors to be on chat in various social sites during the working hours,as it distracts them.So being their head me too have to stay away from chat.
Yes, I can manage and operate my work with other things so I sometimes remain online (invisible)still prefer not to!

It's not necessarily because you're trying to hide. Sometimes you're busy doing other things (I'm usually doing 10 things at once) and sometimes it's because you're off and on and not sitting for long periods of time. Basically it just means you're not available for long conversations.

And, some people simply do not like to chat

one more thing that I notice today, even if you hide yourself from others, the member's online tab located on the right hand side , will give way - will show you as online... so whats the use of going invisible, when people already know you are there...
