Something definitely is not right in asking for commitment on the first date. It's more of a impulse rather than a decision.

It's a bit annoying to see someone request a commitment on the first day. It puts doubts in relationships. But it is estimated that there are 5% of people who do it because they are really serious.

That's what I am talking about! Thanks, Theo. ^_^

Wow! You don't even know each other. Give him a smacker and tell him next time.

Thank you for sharing Lyle. Yes, it is premature.
Wilfredo, that's what I am saying! It's only the first date. I want to get to know the guy before I make any commitments. It's a crime to commit to something you don't know. LOL ^_^

Yes faii, you're right it's moving too fast for a first date. But it depends also for the ladies because if they like the guy, there's no more problem. Maybe before asking for a commitment, you need to know more about each other. You don't know maybe he has many wives.... etc. ((hehehe))

Hell, you should count yourself lucky. I had two WIVES who apparently didn't believe in exclusivity.
I don't think it's entrapment, but it's definitely moving way too fast for a first date.
