You only get what you give
Giver's Gain
This is an old concept that has been around forever in the marketing world, but the meaning behind it has been lost. Marketers think this means you give a lot of, let's be honest, garbage in hopes of getting back something of worth. That is not how it works and is not what this means. You are only going to get back what you give. If you are giving garbage, you are going to get garbage back.
Everyone is giving the same old junk
I am so tired of seeing 'freebies'. 99% of these freebies marketers are offering are already free. You can do a little research and find it for free. Not to mention the fact that it is usually nothing more than the same rehashed, paraphrased, repackaged obsolete outdated junk that every other marketer is offering as a freebie.
What you give must have value
You have to give something of value to people. Giver's Gain is all about networking! You have to help others so that others will help you. If you are helping others to succeed they will help you. Most networkers are not giving, they are recruiting and trying to disguise it as giving.
How do you give in networking?
First and foremost stop worrying about signing that person up to your opportunity. Start looking around for someone you can help to build up their business. But someone who will in return help you. What you have now is two people building their business together. What if you had a group of 10 people all collectively working together to build their businesses? So what if you are finding a referral for Joe Blow when John Doe can find one for you?
What is the Payoff?
Where do you gain? It's quite simple if you are working by yourself, you are doing all of the heavy lifting by yourself. Think about lifting anything heavy by yourself. Isn't it easier when you have other to help you lift? That is the payoff that is your gain. You are no longer doing the heavy lifting by yourself. You now have a team of people all helping each other through promotion, finding referrals, supporting each other and all committed to helping each other achieve success.

@Raunaq Yes we should be helpful. Being helpful comes in many ways one of the most helpful nowadays is pointing out the rubbish and schemes we see being promoted. The person who does this builds a reputation as honest and ethical. People learn to trust them. Working with people in a network is all about Know like and trust.

Thanks Vitaliy and Heather. Networks give us the opportunity to truly help each other in big ways such as giving referrals to People we trust and in little ways as Paula's comment points out. Thanks Paula. That comment deserves to be topped!

There are many ways to give something in other forms than freebies, especially in networking on social media. You can write a comments that ads value and share good articles from others. When you read somebody has trouble with something i.e learning ccs or html or what ever, you can help them directly if you can or just send them a link in pv where they can find a tutorial. If somebody you know that is normally active has been absent for a longer time you can send a pv to ask if this person is

Team work is very crucial as network marketers.Selfishness makes people things of themselves hence forgetting how they are going to be successful.
