XAT Cutoff Score

XAT is conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur for intake of candidates into its prestigious MBA Programs in the month of January every year. The session for the same gets commenced from either May or June every year. The XAT Examination is considered one of the toughest examinations in the Indian Competition circuit and hence it requires utmost dedication from the candidate’s side to for cracking it.

XAT Exam Pattern:

In XAT examinations, questions are asked from four sections and every question carries almost same mark i.e. 1 marks each. From the quantitative Aptitude section 33 questions are asked, Verbal and Logical Reasoning (28), from analytical reasoning (23) and from General Knowledge 30 questions are asked. In totality 114 questions are asked which accounts for 114 marks. Along with overall cutoff, there is also provision of section wise cutoff which the candidates need to clear for the marks of the next section to be considered. Along with these, there is also an essay section where the candidates have to write an essay of not less than 2000 marks. The overall timing is 3 hours.

XAT Cutoff is a requisite score which is required to be crossed in order to pass that exam. This score makes sure that, those who can score above that will consider qualified in the written examination. For XAT 2016, there are lots and lots of question asked in the examination.
