TANCET MBA 2016 Result will be declared in the 4th week of June 2016 by Anna University. The candidates who took management entrance exam, TANCET 2016, on 11 June 2016 will be able to check it on the official website of the university. Additionally, the university will send physical copy of the result cum scorecard to candidate’s address within 10 days of online result declaration. To check the result, official website of Anna University must be visited. The next step is to click the link respective to result. Now, details of roll number and application number must be fed correctly. As soon as these details are entered and submit button is pressed, result of the exam will be shown on the screen. It can now be printed for reference. If a candidate loses the original physical copy of the marksheet, he may get it reissued by sending an application to the university. • In the result cum scorecard, candidates will be able to see – section wise score, aggregate score, rank, and qualification status.
• The aggregate marks obtained in the result will be compared against cutoff marks to decide selection of the candidate.
• If a candidate’s score is more than or equal to cutoff, he will be selected. Rest of the candidates will be dropped from admission race.
• Those who qualify the exam will be declared eligible to participate in counselling where choice filling of colleges will take place.
• The result will determine a candidate’s selection in the next round of admission process or allotment, as the case may be.
Marking Scheme Applied in Result of TANCET MBA 2016
On reviewing the exam pattern, we come to know that 0.25 marks will be cut for incorrect answer. There were a total of 100 questions in the exam of multiple choices type. Each question was of 1 mark. A question that is left unanswered will not attract negative marking. The university will check the result with utmost care and scrutiny to minimize the chances of incorrect checking or calculation of marks.
